What this trait measures
overall postural stability. It is a 0–10 framework score, not a laboratory measurement and not a guarantee of future performance.
Primary evidence
alignment, feet, stance, frame.
What it does not prove
resistance to all destabilizing forces. When the necessary evidence is absent, the correct result is NYE — Not Yet Evaluated, not an invented low or average score.
How to read the 0–10 score
9.0–10.0Exceptional within the current framework and supported by strong evidence. A high number still does not make the trait a verified real-world outcome.
8.0–8.9Very strong framework profile with clear supporting evidence.
7.0–7.9Above-average profile with useful strengths and identifiable limitations.
6.0–6.9Moderate / functional profile. Neither poor nor elite.
5.0–5.9Below the stronger parts of the framework profile; interpret together with confidence and evidence.
0.0–4.9Low score only when evidence genuinely supports a low evaluation. Missing evidence must be NYE.
Evidence hierarchy
- Direct observation: visible structure that can actually be seen in submitted media.
- Movement evidence: video is required for traits that depend on timing, speed, turning or recovery.
- Metadata: age, sex, weight and pedigree facts can refine interpretation but cannot replace visual evidence.
- Historical records: repeated, reviewed outcomes increase confidence for traits that cannot be verified from photographs.
- Traditional framework: eye/leg meanings are displayed as traditional-framework interpretations, not scientific proof.
How this affects the overall report
C20 is one component, never the entire bird. The overall grade should combine only evaluated categories and must exclude NYE values rather than treating them as zero.
